Read the citation first. The court name controls where the case starts. Traffic Court vs MVR
The biggest traffic-record mistake is mixing up the county court case with the Georgia DDS driver record. A court record explains what happened in Catoosa State Court or a municipal court. The DDS online MVR portal is a state driver-record channel. It is helpful after a traffic case has been reported, when an employer, insurer, attorney, or driver needs a driving-history report. It does not show the full Catoosa court file and it does not answer whether a court appearance is required. If the court record and driver history disagree, confirm the court disposition with the clerk and then work through DDS for the state record.
